THE HUDSON FAMILY TRAGEDY

Jennifer Hudson's 7-year-old nephew, Julian King, was found dead. He died of multiple gunshot wounds. The office, which performed the autopsy on the boy's body Tuesday, didn't answer questions about when the child died and where his wounds were.

Julian was found shot to death in an abandoned Chevrolet Suburban on Chicago's West Side on Monday. Police had begun a massive search for him on Friday, the day Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, were found shot to death in their South Side Chicago home.

Julian was the son of Jennifer Hudson's sister, Julia Hudson, who police said found Donerson's body and called police.

William Balfour, 27, who is Julian's stepfather and Julia Hudson's estranged husband, was detained on Friday for questioning in connection with the slayings. Julian was not with Balfour when he was detained.

Balfour was later transferred to prison on a parole violation, the police said. According to the Department of Corrections, he spent nearly seven years in prison for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possessing a stolen vehicle.

No charges had been filed against anyone in connection with the slayings as of yet.

This is a sad chapter in the life of shining star, Jennifer Hudson. My prayers and thoughts are with the family. I wish the person responsible for this heinous act is dealt with severely for destroying this family. For now young Julian, Jason and Darnell, may you all Rest In Peace.

After they let the family get to him! Don't get the police involved, let the family deal with him, then lock him up!

lets step back a little.
that guy looks a little "off". Why would the mother get intimately involved with a guy who did 7 years in the state pen and was convicted of carjacking and attempted murder when she had an impressionable 7 year old boy at home? what the hell was wrong with Julians mother, Jennifers and Jasons sister, Mrs. Hudsons daughter that she would bring some trash into their home and their lives who felt ENTITLED to everything she owned and went so far as stealing a car from her after they broke up?

why are women so desperate for the goodies that they would screw anything that showed some interest in their cooter? why are some women so preoccupied with having a man that they forget the most important thing in their life - besides God - is the child they carried in their body?

one doesnt have to wonder why our communities are a mess and children are a mess and relationships are a mess when the background check is skipped in order to get the goodies on a consistent basis.

my prayers are with Jennifer at this time.

Cas ~ I said the same things, but you know some people like that little bit of 'danger' or thug in a person and that's cool. But especially if you're bringing a child into the situation, THINK PEOPLE, THINK! Do you really want this type of person around your family and your child??? I won't pass judgment as I don't know the entire story, but I can say she's probably beating herself up about making that decision.

I would bet my bank book that Jennifer wanted nothing to do with that dude and that is why she begged her mother to get out of the neighborhood.

my Mom called me crying about the little boy - Julian - when they found his body; my mother doesnt cry about anything.

most of us in this country are devastated behin this tragedy. Let this serve as an example to any mother who feels she has to get hers...at the expense of her family.

RIP Julian, Jason & Mama
