Now these are cartoons! These are cartoons that I grew up on when TVs only had channels 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13! When TV actually went off at like 1 or 2 in the morning. It would play the Star Spangled Banner with the U.S. flag waving then snow until like 6 am when the news would come on.
When it paid to wake up early Saturday morning to watch cartoons, because if not by 1 pm, cartoons were over and it was time for the karate flicks on channel 5.
Hanna Barbera was King of the Cartoons! It's so good to relive my childhood (through TV anyway) while watching: Adam Ant, Yogi Bear, The Flintstones, Huckleberry Hound, Penelope Pitstop, Dick Dastardly, Mutley, The Jetsons, Scooby-Doo Where Are You?, Quick Draw McGraw, Ricochet Rabbit, Magilla Gorilla, Bugs, Bunny, Sylvester & Tweety, The Roadrunner, Wile E. Coyote, Top Cat, The Groovy Ghoulies, The Superfriends, Batman & Robin,
Tarzan, Speedy Buggy, The Pink Panther, Clue Club, Chan and the Chan Clan, The Smurfs, The Snorks, Josie and the Pussycats, Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space, The Banana Splits, Wacky Races, Popeye, The Funky Phantom, Captain Caveman, Fangface, Mighty Man and Yuck, Johnny Quest, The Herculoids, Tom & Jerry, Snagglepuss (who I now know as an adult is gay as a fruit basket-did I really need him to be pink to guess that!), Courageous Cat & Minute Mouse, Richie Rich, just to name a few.One drawback, with these oldies finally on, I can't sit back and reminisce because junior is also fascinated with the old school cartoons and watches it right along with me. He won't go in the other room to watch his cartoons. Says he likes mine better. Great...
