Why do people stand in front of doorways, escalators, entrances, etc. and want to talk to one another blocking the flow of traffic? And get mad when people barrel into them or look at them crazy as they stand there. GET OUT THE WAY!
It's necessary to adopt a bullish attitude in those situations, and just push them out of the way. They're not being aware of anyone else's needs - why give them any consideration?
