Little Things

A sink with no dishes, a hug without asking, a slow day at work
It's the little things that mean a lot

An unexpected check in the mail, realizing your spouse is your soulmate, getting a seat on a train during rush hour
It's the little things that mean a lot

Discovering your favorite store has a sale...and you have money, your friends are the best in the world, your parents accept and respect you as an adult
It's the little things that mean a lot

You find out your credit card raises your limit, you're broke but your bills are paid, someone tells you they love you
It's the little things that mean a lot

Enjoying your favorite foods, vacationing at your favorite spot, being with your loved ones and cherishing the moments
It's the little things that mean a lot

Opening your heart and falling in love, the smell of bacon cooking in the morning, a baby's first step
It's the little things that mean a lot

Air conditioning on a hot summer day, snuggled in bed under the covers on a rainy day, being content and happy with life
It's the little things that mean a lot

Living to a ripe old age, having the courage to be yourself, being big enough to help someone less fortunate
It's the little things that mean a lot

the smell of bacon is a little thing that means a lot to me...because I am not allowed to eat it.

You're the biggest big thing to come into my life and for that I'm grateful and estatic. The little things mean a great deal, but when its all wrapped in the wonder of you it makes it spectacular!

It truly is the little things that mean the most. The biggest, grandest of spectacles are just that, spectacles for the world to see, but the little things have always made the biggest impact on me. Those are the things I hold closest to my heart.
